Pushed hard at the track this morning. Hit consistent sub-5:40 miles with strong form throughout.

Felt in the zone with perfect weather conditions. My legs were surprisingly cooperative today, which is a rare miracle given they usually plot against me after my Tuesday taco indulgence. By mile 3, I was passing people so smoothly I started making up superhero names for myself - "The Flash" was already taken, so I settled on "Slightly Sweaty Speedy Guy."

The last mile was a battle between my brain saying "slow down" and my competitive side saying "but that guy in the blue shorts just looked at you funny." Competitive side won. Ended with enough energy to walk to my car, but not quite enough to unload the dishwasher when I got home. Perfect balance!
